Evil dolls have long been a staple of the horror genre. What is it about these otherwise innocent child playthings that gives people the creeps? Is it their blank stare? Or, in the case of some dolls, their strangely mobile eyes? Is it the possibility that mistreating your toys may bring about some serious repercussions if they come to life at night? Hmmm....

Nevertheless, evil dolls have made for some memorabe and macabre movie moments, from the foul-mouthed homicidal "Good Guy" doll, Chucky from {Child's Play}; to the demonic puppets of the Puppet Master series of films, to countless other movies featuring re-animated dolls with a demonic nature. Adding to the fun, Living Dead Dolls is a line of toys by Mezco that regularly releases deliberatly disturbing dolls that collectors have been snapping up for over ten years.

Dressing up as Evil Dolls

Suit up as not-so-Good Guy Chucky with masks and officially licensed Child's Play costumes featuring a striped shirt, overalls and Chucky mask with rooted synthetic orange hair and a disturbingly demonic expression on the doll-like face. Grab a knife and some fake blood to compliment your costume. Make it a cute n' creepy couple's costume and dress up as the Bride of Chucky to accompany your boy.

For an unexpected twist, dress up as any of the demonic puppets from Puppet Master, such as the slasher spy Blade, the gigantic-handed yet tiny headed Pinhead, or even Jester and {Ms. Leech} for a frightfully good time with no strings attached!
