About Eureka

Eureka or Eureka 7 is an anime, video game, and manga. There are fifty episodes in the series, which began airing in 2005 in Japan. The show has run on Cartoon Network in the US. The series begins with the character {Eureka 7 Renton Thurston}. He is a 14 year old boy whose father was killed trying to save the world. His father was a military researcher. Now Renton has a simple life with his grandfather, which is kind of on the dull side, until a mechanical robot falls into his lap. Eureka is the name of the pilot operating the robot. After this Renton’s life changes because he is now helping his grandfather, Eureka, and finding out about “Amita Drive” which has quite a bit of power. There are a number of themes to the anime with Japanese subculture depicted rather well throughout the show, along with environmental messages.

Dressing up as Eureka

If you want to dress in Cosplay costumes from Eureka you have a few choices to make. You have Matthieu, Hap, and Renton as male costumes. Eureka is going to be a female pilot. The costumes can fit both adults and some children. For Eureka you would need a dress with long sleeves. This dress should have two rows of buttons down the front kind of like a military style. You would have blue stripes with a mostly white dress, and socks and shoes to match. You also need a blue cosplay wig for Eureka. If you want to dress up as Renton you would need a white and red wind breaker, blue jeans, and matching shoes.
