About Ed Norton

Not to be confused with the actor, Ed "Lilywhite" Norton is a NYC sewage worker and best friend to his tenement neighbor, Ralph Kramden on classic '50s sitcom, The Honeymooners. Married to Trixie (Ralph's wife's best friend), Ed is a bumbling goofball who enjoys watching "Captain Video and the Video Rangers," bowling, and assisting Ralph in many a harebrained scheme to get rich quick. Ed is called by his last name by Ralph, who frequently bellows to his best friend the floor above him, yelling "Norton! Hey, No'ton!" out of his window. Goofy, yet good natured, Norton is an easy-going sort of chap... You have to be if you work in the sewer all day!
