About Duke

In the {G.I. Joe} film, "The Rise of Cobra," Duke is a young, upstart newcomcer to the team of Joes who assumes the rank of Captain (although he's seen wearing the ranking accoutrements of a Major), and played by actor Channing Tatum. In the '80s cartoon, Duke was the codename of Conrad Hauser, second in command of the Joes after General Hawk. He's shown as a blonde with a spiked flattop and has a romantic relationship with his redheaded teammate, Shana O'Hara who goes by the codename "Scarlett."

Dressing up as Duke

Officially licensed {G.I. Joe} costumes based on Duke's look from the film are available in adult and children's sizes. Included is a one-piece black jumpsuit with built-in muscle padding and plastic "armor" panels on the outside. The costume includes gauntlets, arm-guards, and shin guards in addition to a full-coverage black helmet with a clear plastic faceshield on the front. The Duke Helmet can also be sold separately to create your own costume, as are the black Duke bootcovers and gloves to give this look an authentic, film feel. Add your own plastic toy weaponry to complete this costume. Yo, Joe!
