About Dragonball Z

Dragonball Z is an anime television show which first aired in Japan, and began airing in the US in 1999. The manga was created by Akira Toryama during the 1980’s. It was so popular that it was turned into an Anime as Dragonball, then came along Dragonball Z, which began where the other series left off. The story follows Goku and other Dragonball characters as they try to save the planet they live on. Goku was from Earth, but found himself in another place. The basic idea is that the Dragonball fighters are actually fighting to gain stature in tournaments so that they have powers when it really counts. Their power is found in the Dragon Ball. The team of Dragonball Z fighters is often pitted against the evil of King Piccolo.

Dressing up as Dragonball Z

Dragonball Z offers a number of different costumes from Piccolo to Goku. You will need a Cosplay wig to create the right look for the hair since it is rather pointed, and a bit wacky. Then, if you want to be Goku you would need an orange jumpsuit with blue shirt, and belt. You would also need ninja style shoes to create the look. Children and adults costumes are available for Dragonball Z. Other options are a different structure to the jumpsuit. For Son Gohan you would need a blue jumpsuit without a shirt underneath. This is very revealing of the chest, and it has no sleeves. These costumes are generally knit.
