About Dragons

Mythical giant, winged lizards who sometimes breathed fire dragons hold a spot in legends from around the globe. From Ancient Greece, China, and Japan to Medieval times, the legends surounding these creatures are countless. Some were ferocious, terrorizing villages and in need of a brave knight or hero to slay them. Other dragons were wise and took a liking to humans, aiding them in their quest for riches or knowledge.

Dressing up as a Dragon

A noble creature of ancient legend, feared and respected, dress as a dragon to truly make an entrance to your next party or even a parade. One of the symbols of the Chinese New Year is the "Dragon Dance," and dragons were often shown as a symbol of royalty and even divinity in Asian culture. Beyond dragon-adorned royalty and ninja costumes which call upon the power of the dragon, there are also several fun mascot-style costumes reminsicent of Puff the Magic Dragon or Pete's Dragon in colorful plush in sizes to fit children and adults.
