About Dr. Seuss

Theodor Seuss Geisel, thanks to a name change, some colorful characters of his own creation, and quirky poetry that held timeless appeal to children acheived immortality as Dr. Seuss. One of the most popular children's writers of all time, Dr. Seuss is best known for his troublesome "Cat In the Hat," "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" and "Horton Hears a Who." Two of these films have been turned into major motion pictures and "Horton Hears a Who" is slated for a release later this year, reaching an entirely new audience of children of all ages.

Dressing up as Dr. Seuss

With possibilities almost as limitless as your imagination, or that of Dr. Seuss' for that matter, there are tons of Dr. Seuss costumes for you or your child to dress up in. If you're searching for something with a Christmas theme or even a slightly dastardly bent, there's the Grinch Who Stole Christmas, with either a full-coverage latex Grinch mask or a costume featuring the Grinch in full stealthy-Santa gear!

For a timeless classic, put on the Cat In the Hat hat or even a full Cat in the Hat costume. If you're going as a group, rustle up some friends to dress up as The Cat's equally mischevious friends, Thing One and Thing Two, or to even put on the Fish in the Teapot Hat.
