About Dorothy
Dorothy Gale from Kansas was neither a good witch or a bad witch when she arrived in the magical, merry old land of Oz. The L. Frank Baum heroine in his classic children's tale, "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," which was later made into the 1939 film that we all know and love. Whisked away by a tornado into this strange new world, Dorothy and her little dog Toto wind up in heavy intrigue in Oz, searching for a way to get back home. Along her way, Dorothy befriends the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion along with Glinda the Good Witch of the North.
Dressing up as Dorothy Gale
In sizes to fit adults and children, there are a number of Dorothy costumes to transport you the the wonderful world of Oz without having to brave a twister. Complete with a blue and white pinafore and a white top, there are children's sizes in sweet and appropriate lengths, and slightly sexier versions of the Kansas farmgirl for older gals who want to add a little bit of magic to things!
Braid your hair into two long plaits tied with blue ribbons for a girlish effect. And last but not least, no good witch -- or at least no good Dorothy -- should be without her ruby slippers!
