About Dora
Dora the Explorer is an animated character on Nickelodeon's kids cartoon of the same name. A positive role model for little girls, fun, spunky, and adventurous -- continually trying new things and exploring new places. Dora is a little girl of Latina heritage with a distinctive brown bob with short bangs. She's friends with all sorts of animals who accompany her on her adventures. Sometimes, Dora is joined by her cousin Diego, her best friend Boots the Monkey and Swiper the Fox. Dora teaches kids at home about different different places as well as valuable lessons in friendship, and even second language basics. Dora was recently given a makeover with a more "grown up" look, reflecting her audience of "tweens" growing up with her!
Dressing up as Dora
Little girls can play dress up and go off on their own adventures as Dora with officially licensed costumes based off of the cartoon charaacter and her friends. Start with a Dora wig in her signature dark brown pageboy cut with bangs. Made in sizes to fit little girls, it's the perfect compliment to the Dora costume which includes with a colorful pair of orange shorts and a pink t-shirt with a Dora the Explorer graphic on the front. Add a backpack filled with healthy snacks and you're ready to explore!
Boys can dress up as Diego for great costumed fun for brother and sister!
Little ones can play in cute, cuddly rompers made to turn them into miniature versions of Boots the Monkey and Swiper the Fox, complete with an attached tail and character hood.
