About Count Dooku

Once a respected Jedi and an apprentice trained by Jedi Master Yoda himself, Count Dooku was seduced by the Dark Side of the Force and recruited as the Sith apprentice to Darth Sidious -- AKA - Emperor Palpatine. He had spent over 70 years as a Jedi, but a particular battle shook his faith in the Republic, and he turned to the Dark Side, believing he was acting for the greater good. Dooku's Sith name was Darth Tyrannus. Prior to turning to the Dark Side, Dooku had trained Qui Gon Jinn as his padawan. Dooku was considered to be one of the greatest combatants ever with a lightsaber. Interstingly enough, Count Dooku's lightsaber had a curved handle to his lightsaber which complimented his unique fighting style. Ironically, Count Dooku was killed in battle by Anakin Skywalker, the man who would replace him as Palpatine's apprentice.

Dressing up as Count Dooku
