About Dog

A dog is a canine animal most closely related to wolfs. They are part of the Canidae family. Dogs can be domestic or not. However, many dogs are domesticated for pets. There are over a hundred different dog species which exist. The gray wolf was the first beast to be domesticated about 15,000 years ago. Since then the beasts have led to other species by breeding them with different wolves, dogs, etc. Dogs can be trained, and depending on the breed training can be quite easy. There are sled dogs, work dogs, and your typical pet. German Shepherds are known for being work dogs with police and as rescue animals. They can also be used for helping disabled people such as seeing- eye dogs or just companions. Sled dogs tend to be huskies or dogs related to huskies. Chihuahua are very popular right now due to the movies like Beverly Hills Chihuahua.

Dressing up as Dog

There are two ways of looking at how to dress with a dog idea in mind. First there are numerous accessories which can be used to dress your own dog. For example there are Pirate dog pet costumes in which your dog can be dressed in a hat, shirt, and pants like dog outfit. There are jester hats for dogs or even devil costumes for dogs. The second way of looking at dog costumes is for humans. There are children and adult costumes you can purchase. A Dalmatian costume like the puppies in 101 Dalmatians is very popular with children. The costume provides a plush jumpsuit with black spots and white material. It also has a hood with dog ears, eyes, and snout typical of the breed.
