About Doctor Who

Doctor Who is a British television show based on science fiction. It is produced by the BBC. The show has been played on a few US television stations, and is quite a hit. Doctor Who was first devised in the early 1960’s. It started out as a show where people could learn about history, events, etc. by watching the show. It was still meant to be fiction, but a lot of the action was based on things that happened. Eventually science fiction over took the show changing the plot. There have been a number of actors playing the Doctor role, who is the main character. There are a number of plots that occur in the show. In 2005 there was one plot where Rose Tyler a shop assistant is almost killed by shop dummies, but Doctor Who rescues her. She is intrigued by him and begins to try to learn more about him. During the plot the two encounter several aliens that they must save the planet from.

Dressing up as Doctor Who

Doctor Who costumes are pretty general when it comes to the Doctor. He is an average looking citizen who has the ability to fight aliens. So the typical Doctor Who costume will be a brown suit, with white dress shirt, and loafers. If you want to be an alien that has been showcased on the show you have a number of options. For example you could be a mannequin. In this case you would need some fashion accessories, white pasty skin, a wig, and a vacant look in your eyes.
