About Dexter

Your friendly neighborhood serial killer, Dexter Morgan is also known as the Bay Harbor Butcher of Miami, FL. "Dexter" is the name of the Showtime cable network television series based on the "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" series of novels by Jeff Lindsay. Dexter works for the Miami police department as a blood spatter analyst by day along with his adoptive sister. Adopted by former police detective, Harry Morgan, Dexter was trained by Harry to curtail his urge to kill innocent people and instead channel his energies to kill those who would harm others. Following "The Code of Harry," Dexter chooses his victims from among drug dealers, murderers and all manner of societal scourge. Additionally, he tries to maintain a "normal" cover as an average guy with a girlfriend and network of family and friends. Dexter is played by actor Michael C. Hall.

Dressing up as Dexter

Suit up in Dexter's work gear for both his day job as a Miami PD blood splatter analyst and his night gig as the Bay Harbor Butcher. The officially licensed Dexter costume comes complete with olive green longsleeved scrubs and pants along with a black, vinyl apron. Also included is an olive green surgical cap and black PVC boot covers. Accessorize this look with a pair of rubber gloves, a face shield, toy knife, and of course, fake blood to get that perfect splatter on your ensemble.
