About Dawn of the Dead

"When there's no more room in Hell... Then the dead will walk the earth." The second film in horror director George Romero's "Dead" series, and an indirect sequel to the iconic "Night of the Living Dead," "Dawn of the Dead" was made in 1978 and showed the world on the verge of an apocalyptic infestation of zombies who attacked other humans, spreading the zombie infection. The film took place almost entirely in the Monroeville Mall where a group of surviving humans banded together to take out the zombies by gory, brutal, and sometimes comical means. The film was remade in 2004, upping the gore factor while still retaining the spirit of the original as a critique on consumerism in society.

Dressing up as Dawn of the Dead

Gore it up with zombie costumes inspired by the classic horror film, "Dawn of the Dead" with costumes and latex masks based off of some of the most gruesome zombie creatures featured in the film. Officially licensed Plaid Boy and Fly Boy costumes are available, along with high quality latex masks based on the frightful makeup used to create these disgusting zombies. Plaid Boy's costume comes with (what else, but!) a plaid shirt and a mask featuring his bald, radiation-scarred zombie face. On the other hand, {Fly Boy]'s blue-grey facial pallor is accented by a mouth dripping with blood, fresh from the feast!
