About Darth Vader

Voted as one of the American Film Institute's greatest villains of all time, Darth Vader cut an imposing figure when he made his very first on-screen appearance in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Tall, clad in all black armor and a helmet obscuring his entire face, this Sith Lord had his own Imperial March and could Force Choke anyone who dared defy his word.

This villainous figure wasn't always one with the Dark Side of the Force. Once, he was the heroic Jedi, Anakin Skywalker. After being converted by Emperor Palpatine, following a battle with his mentor Obi Wan Kenobi, Anakin was horribly burned and missing limbs. The Emperor salvaged his body and constructed the infamous black suit (which also contained a breathing apparatus that assisted his severely damaged lungs), turning the good man once known as Anakin Skywalker to the Sith Lord, Darth Vader. Little did Vader know that his two children, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia both lived and were also strong in the Force.

Dressing up as Darth Vader

Costume yourself as one of the baddest villains in the galaxy and to ever grace the silver screen. Adults and kids alike can dress as Sith Lord, Darth Vader. Start off your costume with a Deluxe Darth Vader Mask of hard, shining black plastic. The mask comes apart in two pieces, one to cover the front of your face and the other more of a "helmet" to cover your head and neck in the back.

Vader ostumes offering full-body coverage in head-to-toe black are available to fit adults, kids, babies, and even pets! Each includes a fabric jumpsuit made to look like Vader's full body armor. In addition, they include boot covers and gauntlets with a "leather" look and plastic collar from which Vader's flowing black cape hangs.

Don't forget a lightsaber in the traditional Sith color of red to complete your costume.
