About The Dark Knight

Easily the biggest summer blockbuster of 2008, "The Dark Knight" is the sequel to director Chris Nolan's "Batman Begins." With Christian Bale reprising the role of Batman / Bruce Wayne and the late Heath Ledger stealing the show with his brilliant portrayal of the Joker, the film has cemented its legacy among comic book enthusiasts and film buffs alike. A dark revisioning of the already-dark Batman graphic novels, using "Batman: The Long Halloween" as one of its bases, the film also features such members of Batman's "rogues gallery" as the former white knight of a District Attorney Harvey Dent, scarred in a fire and turning him into the villainous Two Face.

Already a big hit in theatres, the Dark Knight is poised to be a big hit with costumes this (long) Halloween! In both children's and adult sizes there are plenty of officially licensed costumes of the Dark Knight himself, Batman along with his nemesis, the maniacal Joker. Joker masks and even Joker makeup kits are available to make your transformation more authentic and less painful. Masks based on the Joker's team of robbers are also another option, as is a Scarecrow mask depicting one of the creepiest of Batman's Rogues Gallery.
