About Dalmations

One of the most popular breeds of dogs, Dalmations are characterized by their white bodies with black spots in a unique pattern that covers each dogs. Some dalmations have more spots than others with the spots being in an irregular pattern and irregular in size. Dalmations are frequently seen as mascots for local fire-houses, often riding up front in the ladder truck with fire fighters, ready to help save the day... Or lift their leg near a fire hydrant!

Dalmations reached a peak of popularity with the Disney animated film, 101 Dalmations in which a liter of Dalmation puppies attempt to outwit the evil Cruella DeVille who would want to turn the cute canines into fur coats. Yikes!
