About Curious George

The title character of author H.A. Rey's series of children's books, Curious George made his debut in 1941. A small, curious monkey brought back from an expedition in Africa by his human friend, "The Man in the Yellow Hat, Curious George is a cheerful little monkey who manages to get himself into all sorts of adventures thanks to his inquisitive nature. He was originally brought back on the boat to live in a zoo in the "Big City," however, Curious George escapes and comes to stay with The Man in the Yellow Hat. The books were made into a recent film in 2006 starring Will Ferrell as "Ted" -- The Man in the Yellow Hat.

Dressing up as Curious George

Available in adult and children's sizes are cute, cuddly costumes based on H.A. Rey's beloved storybook monkey, Curious George. The adult version features a brown one-piece jumpsuit with a mask with a 2D version of Curious George's face imprinted upon it. The children's and infant's version, however, is slightly more ornate with an adorable one-piece jumpsuit in brown with attached tan "monkey feet" included on the jumpsuit. A character hood is also available with a 3D imprint of Curious George's smiling face, allowing your own child's smile to peek through and give them maximum visibility as they go off on their own adventures.

Supervise their activity dressed up in the Man in the Yellow Hat costume featuring a yellow safari costume and hat! Don't forget to pack some extra bananas!
