Cuba is a tiny, yet highly populated island in the Northern Caribbean. Agriculturally, it is known for its sugar cane and tobacco, with Cuban cigars known to be some of the finest in the world. Some noteworthy Cuban-born figures are revolutionary leader Fidel Castro (who recently stepped down as President of Cuba) and his brother Raul, who succeeded him as Cuba's President), Desi Arnaz who played Ricky Ricardo on Love Lucy" and was married to Lucille Ball, singers Celia Cruz and Gloria Estefan, baseball player Jose Canseco, and bandleader and musician Xavier Cugat.
