About Crocodile Dundee

Crocodile Dundee is a fictional character of a 1986 film. The premise was of a man from Australia who comes to New York City. He meets up with a reporter. Though the character is fictional the movie was inspired by the exploits of Rodney Ansell. Paul Hogan played Crocodile Dundee. He was a man who could track in the outback, had Aboriginal friends, and had a very large knife, usually attached to his back. In the first film he has to get used to all of the amenities he has never seen before, and try to get around New York. There was a second and third film based on the character. The second film did all right, but the third was no real hit. Mick or Crocodile Dundee could whisper to horses, subdue a wild buffalo, and kill crocodiles. Sue goes to Australia which is where she first meets Mick, before they go to New York in the first film. They fall in love.

Dressing up as Crocodile Dundee

To dress as Mick you would need to have a crocodile sewn vest, knit tan pants, cowboy boots, and a hat. In fact you would need to have the hat lined with crocodile teeth, and have a matching necklace. You can find this sort of costume for both children and adults. You can also just dress as a crocodile. In the second film Dundee dressed as a crocodile on the surface. You could recreate this idea by having the tan pants, cowboy boots, and knife, then adding a half of crocodile costume where it sits on your head, and back.
