About Coffee

Some people just can't function in the morning without a good cup of coffee! This strangely alluring and (legally!) addictive beverage is made from roasted seeds from the coffee plant known as coffee beans. The roasted coffee beans are then ground up and are used with a filter and water in a coffee maker to brew the dark brown beverage. Slightly bitter in taste, some choose to drink the beverage "black" -- without the sugar and cream often used to sweeten coffee and give it a smoother flavor. The coffee plant is grown in warm climates with some of the most highly prized coffees coming from Kenya, Hawaii, Columbia and Arabia.
