About Code Geass

Code Geass is a relatively new anime for the US. It was created by Sunrise director Goro Taniguchi and written by Ichiro Okouchi. Code Geass was first aired in Japan on October 5 2006, and a year later it was released to the US. The first series is Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion. The second season is simply Code Geass R2. The plot allows for many unanswered questions to arise as we follow the actions of Lelouch. In the beginning we see Japan taken over by the Holy Britannian Empire, which supposedly occurs in 2010. Knightmare Frames or robots with weapons are used to take over Area 11 which is what Japan is called. Lelouch was a Britannian prince who gave up his rights to the throne when his mother was murdered. Anger and the need for revenge set Lelouch at odds with his father. During the first episode Lelouch manages to get into a spot of trouble where he meets C.C.. She gives Lelouch the power of Geass to help him in his efforts to stop his father. While Lelouch is going to school and hiding his identity he is also taking care of his sister Nunnally who was blinded and hurt when their mother was murdered. Lelouch eventually adopts a cover called Zero to hide his aims at revenge.

Dressing up as Code Geass

There are a number of characters from Code Geass like Lelouch and {C.C.} that one can dress up as. Prince Schneizel, Suzaku, and Kaguya are just a few other costume choices. For Lelouch one will need a Japanese school uniform in black. This uniform has a black coat with buttons on the side to keep it closed, and form fitting black pants. A cosplay wig in brown would be needed to get the correct hair style. For C.C. you would also need a cosplay wig in green. This is a long haired wig. The rest of her clothing would be a formfitting and revealing white dress.
