About Clone Wars
In the Star Wars universe, The Clone Wars refers to both an animated movie and television series that takes place between the events of Episodes 2 and 3 of the second trilogy. The Clone Wars feature the Republic and the Jedi fighting against the Separatists, led in part by General Grievous and the former Jedi turned Sith, Count Dooku. Dooku's right-hand woman is his own Sith apprentice, Asajj Ventress who goes head to head with Anakin Skywalker. Many of the soldiers in the Clone Wars were cloned from the DNA of Jango Fett, the father of Boba Fett -- raised to be battle-ready warriors with their genetic code tweaked to be submissive to an overseer -- who ultimately turned out to be Palpatine.
Dressing up as Clone Wars
Suit up as your favorite character from the animated Star Wars movie and television series. Asajj Ventress is a popular choice for ladies and is one of the few characters who exclusively appears in an animated version and not in any of the live-action trilogies. Don't forget to grab two lightsabers to pull off Ventress' unique fighting style. Dress as her mentor with a Count Dooku costume available in kids or adult sizes.
