In the Star Wars universe, the Clone Wars refer to a period of time between the events of Episode 2 and 3. The Clone Troopers were the forerunners to the Imperial Storm Troopers and Biker Scouts of the original trilogy. However, the Clone Troopers originally fought on the side of the Republic alongside the Jedi against Sith-led Separatists helmed by Count Dooku. The Clone Troopers were cloned from the DNA of bounty hunter (and father to Boba Fett, Jango Fett. Jango Fett's genetic code was altered to retain his prowess in combat and resourcefulness but made the Clone Troopers submissive to a controlling entity. Although it was believed that the Clone Troopers were led by the Republic, Senator Palpatine had them instilled with Order 66 that had them kill most of the Jedi and allowed him to take control and turn the Republic to his Empire.

Dressing up as a Clone Trooper

Available in sizes and and an assortment of styles to fit adults and kids, are officially licensed Star Wars Clone Trooper costumes. The deluxe Captain Rex costume is complete with a jumpsuit with plastic armored plates for a more realistic look, a utility belt with a long black panel to add character to the armor, and a two-piece Clone Trooper helmet made of plastic.
