About Christmas
December 25th is the day that Christians celebrate one of their major holidays, Christmas. The holiday celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ in a stable in Bethlehem, where the King of Kings was born in the humblest of settings. Although there is a strong religious basis to the holiday, it's also celebrated secularly or in conjunction with gift giving and visits from Santa Claus, a jolly man in a red suit who rewards good children with presents left under the Christmas tree to be opened on Christmas morning.
Dressing up for Christmas
There are so many costumes that work really well with Christmas no matter how you celebrate! You can dress up with religious Three Kings or Magi costumes for a nativity play or deck yourself out in a festive Santa hat or Santa Claus suit while passing out gifts with your family.
Even beyond costuming, there's so much that can be done in terms of decorating for Christmas. Dress up your Christmas tree with ornaments or deck your halls with wreaths.
