About Cheerleader
A cheerleader is a person who helps keep the crowds interest at a sporting event. Cheerleaders have usually been women, but men can be cheerleaders as well. The idea is to have routines with tumbling, dancing, jumps, stunts, and cheers that will help pep up the crowd. There are even cheerleading competitions that cheerleaders can practice for and win. The idea is to draw the crowds attention during the lulls in the game. This way it seems like the players are not taking that long to get back on the field of play. Cheerleading outfits are always based on the school or team colors. The Dallas Cowboys have cheerleaders as well as many other football teams.
Dressing up as Cheerleader
A cheerleader needs to have a short skirt, a tank top, and pom poms. The costume will be based on the colors you want to have. A Kim Possible cheerleading costume provides the cartoon school colors. There are also high school musical costumes. Some costumes are blue others black and white. The hair and the shoes will have to be your choice. For example a ponytail is often worn and sneakers for the feet. You will also want to have your own cheers.
