About Chazz Michael Michaels

Played by Will Ferrell in the 2007 comedy film, Blades of Glory, Chazz Michael Michaels is a charismatic, yet egomaniacal ice skater whose rivalry and resulting brawl with fellow skater Jimmy McElroy resulted in him being banned from the sport for life. After falling on hard times in the years following his ousting from the sport, Michaels was relegated to skating in local children's ice shows, getting good n' liquored up while in costume and making crude passes at women. His luck changes for the better when he discovers a loophole in the ban, which only banned him from singles' competition. It's then that he teams up with old rival McElroy and the two go on to become same-sex doubles skaters and attempt to reclaim their former glory.
