About Charlies Angels

Charlies Angels was first a television show during the 70’s. Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith, and Cheryl Ladd were the actresses that were on the show. Farrah Fawcett was replaced by Cheryl Ladd, when she decided to quit the show. The idea of the show was to have a women’s group fighting crime. However, they couldn’t do so without a backer. So they worked for a private investigator called Charlie. Charlie would call in giving the three women cases through his liaison Bosely. The three ladies never met Charlie, and for the most part he was just a voice on the television. In the last decade two movies based on the television show were created. They were more comedic characters, rather than the serious friends of the show. The three characters in the TV show were from a police force and other community service style jobs.
