About Cenobites

From the mind of horror icon and author, Clive Barker, the Cenobites are the bizarre demons from the Hellraiser series of films. The chief of these masochistic demons is Pinhead, named for the cross-hatching of pins embedded in his pale head. Their prime function is to exact vengeance on anyone who solves the Lament Configuration -- a sort of demonic Rubic's Cube -- and escort them into a torturous realm. Barker's inspiration for these characters was real-life S&M clubs with the look of the Cenobites being very fetish-inspired with whips, chains, and piercings galore!

Dressing up as a Cenobite
