Schools in! With specific uniforms that you have to wear or do you? Catholic schools are notorious for having uniforms for their attendees whether you are female or male. Most private schools will have school uniforms as well. A Catholic School is based on the Catholic Religion, they operate as a non- governmental school system. The schools are accredited and have funds through tuition payments and fund raising to support their schools. They have a similar curriculum to public schools, but more emphasis on religion. Catholic Schools used to be run by nuns, and to a degree still are. Anyone in a Catholic School has to have a teachers degree and have some form of religious background. In the 50’s and up till the 70’s the schools had quite a discipline program with the use of rules. They are still one of the more disciplined styles of schools.

Dressing up as Catholic School

Most of the costumes for Catholic School are not going to be the typical school uniforms. Instead they will be modified creations. The typical uniform is knee length skirts, with panty hose or knee high socks, dress shoes, tucked in dress shirt, tie, and vest. For the men pants are the norm. For the costumes you can assume the shirts will be mid abdomen, and the shirts definitely shorter. It is the “bad” girl look that adds a bit of sexiness to the costume. The patterns and materials may reflect the uniform, but the appearance will be quite altered. The guys costumes typically have low riding pants, un- tucked shirt, and a different use for the tie like a head band.
