About Captain Morgan Rum

Named for the Welsh seafarer, Captain Henry Morgan, Captain Morgan Rum is the third-largest brand of liquor in the United States. Began in 1944, Captain Morgan was produced by the Seagrams company and is still going strong today. In keeping with the adventuresome "spirit" of Captain Morgan, there are several varieties of the brand of rum, including the original flavor; Captain Morgan Tattoo -- an extra dark spiced rum (and one of my personal favorites); Parrot Bay with a myriad of tropical fruit flavorings, Black Label, and Private Stock. Ahoy, me hearties and get your drink on!

Dressing up as Captain Morgan Rum

Get a little Captain in you and costume yourself as the world's most mischeivous liquor mascot for Captain Morgan Rum. Outfit yourself in a pirate costume with a red coat trimmed in gold, black pants, a white pirate shirt and a red tri-cornered hat. Over a long curly black wig, tie on a white bandana and pencil in with black eyeliner pencil a black mustache and goatee, or use spirit gum to adhere a false beard and mustache. Add a white jabot and cuffs to enhance your ensemble. Finish it off with some stylish pirate boots and a cutlass in one hand, and a good stiff drink in the other!
