About C3po

A protocol droid who can speak in excess of 100 different languages, C3PO is the uptight and very proper droid featured in all six of the Star Wars movies. He is played and voiced by actor Anthony Daniels. C3PO was found as scrap by young Anakin Skywalker who made and programmed him into the droid known and loved by Star Wars fans. Initially, his circuitry was exposed, although over time, he was given a silver, and later (and best-known) sleek gold body casing to cover his circuits. Once Anakin turned to the Dark Side, C3P0's memory was wiped, long with that of his companion droid friend, {R2D2} so that they would have no memory of their creator once he became Darth Vader. C3P0 went on to become the protector and companion of Anakin's twins, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia.

Dressing up as C3PO

Available in sizes to fit adults, children, and babies are officially licensed Star Wars C3P0 costumes. Dress as your favorite gilded droid with a one-piece bodysuit made of gold lame fabric with quilted segments to look like Threepio's casing. A black band with red, white, and blue "circuitry" is embedded in the midriff portion of the costume for a realistic effect. Also included are gold gloves and boot covers, as well as a full-coverage face mask. A {C3PO mask} of highly detailed gold latex is available separately for those who would like to build their own droid costume. Team up with a friend wearing an {R2D2} costume.
