About Burger King

Burger King was begun in 1954 by 1954 by James McLamore and David Edgerton. A major fast food franchise, competitor to {McDonald's) and "The Home of the Whopper," its signature sandwich -- a mammoth burger on a seeded bun with lettuce, pickles, ketchup, mayo, tomato, and onions, Burger King's mascot is THE Burger King. During the '80s, the King was depicted as a stately monarch imprinted upon foil crowns packaged with Kids Meals. During the 1990s, the Burger King was all-but invisible. In the past several years, however, the Burger King has made a resurgence as a pop culture fixture as a mascot-style king, an exaggerated version of the franchise's spokesman. The Burger King is featured in commercials peeping in people's windows and offering them burgers and playing football. Whatta guy!

Dressing up as Burger King

Special orders don't upset us! Order your Burger King costume and get it in time to "have it your way" this Halloween! A deluxe Burger King mask features the King's smiling, bearded face wearing his ginormous crown, grinning like he's going to hand you a Whopper. (Although, unless you're a vegetarian, that wouldn't be a bad thing. Then again, Burger King does have veggie Whoppers. Go figure!)

An entire Burger King costume is also available in mens' sizes in addition to the mask. The costume includes the mask along with the King's royal attire in the gold-and-burgandy color scheme that are associated with the fast food franchise. Also included is a large gold medallion emblazoned with the Burger King logo.
