A bull fighter is a person who stands in a ring, with spectators watching from the stands. The matador waits for the bull to be released from its holding cell. As the bull is released the bull fighter begins to wave their red flag around. The movement attracts the bull. The bull fighter must avoid the bull as it charges. A common misconception in bullfighting is that the bull sees the red and gets excited, but actually it is the movement. The bull is colorblind like most animals. Bull fighters are most popular in Spain, Portugal, and parts of South America. They train professionally on how to move the red flag, how to avoid being hurt, etc.

Dressing up as Bull Fighter

A bullfighter will always need a bull. You have a couple of different costume choices when it comes to dressing as a Bull Fighter. The costume is flashy, often with gold brocade along the sides of the pants, the edges of the jacket, and collar. The top part of the costume is a white dress shirt, covered by a short long sleeve jacket. The pants are formfitting and match the jacket. Polyester is usually the material to make the costumes. To top it off a bull fighter hat and of course the cape is needed.
