About Bugs
Bugs can refer to two different things. In one case we can be referring to bugs as in insects. Insects are small creatures like mosquitoes, ladybugs, and parasites. When it comes to costumes bugs often refer to either ladybugs or Bugs Bunny. If speaking about Bugs as in Bugs Bunny then you are discussing a fictional character. Bugs is a rabbit from the Looney Tunes cartoon. Bugs is often seen as a rabbit full of gags and a sense of humor. Most shows have Bugs squaring off against Daffy, where Bugs tends to outwit the duck.
Dressing up as Bugs
Since there are two connotations to the word Bugs you have two choices. You can be a male {rabbit] with a grey plush suit. The suit will often have white on the stomach and on the face. To complete the outfit bunny ears and white gloves would be needed. You would also want to have a carrot. If you are talking about a ladybug then you would need a red costume with black spots, and wings. The costume is then completed with little antennas. Typically you must find the black stockings and long sleeved shirt. There are many costumes in either motif that will work for adults and children.
