About Bugs Bunny

Bugs Bunny is part of the Looney Tunes animated series. The cartoons were created by Warner Brothers Cartoons in the 1940’s. The first appearance of Bugs Bunny was July 27, 1940 in A Wild Hare a Merrie Melodies Series. Bugs Bunny has many characters in the show in which he has acted with. In fact Looney Tunes Back in Action had Brendan Fraser and Jenna Elfman playing on the blue screen with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. According to a book published on bugs bunny he was born in Brooklyn New York. The creator of Bugs was Tex Avery and the voice was Mel Blanc.

Dressing up as Bugs Bunny

Bugs Bunny is a fairly simple costume. Any costume that has a grey rabbit, white belly, white tail, pink inside of the ears, and a carrot hanging from its mouth will be bugs bunny. You can find infant up to adult sized Bugs Bunny costumes. You can also find a costume for almost any budget. The costume may leave it up to you to create the face. Some of the costumes will come with the Bugs Bunny face and ears to go over your own. Just remember "What's Up Doc?" to pull off the costume!
