About Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Buffy the Vampire Slayer was originally created by Joss Whedon, but there was also a book adaptation to the film created in 1992 by Rickie Tankersley Cusick. The book and movie were based on a valley girl character played by Kristy Swanson. She comes of age into her fate and learns she must fight and kill vampires. The movie included such actors, as Luke Perry, Donald Southerland, and David Arquette. In the film Buffy finally wins out over evil which was Rutger Hauer’s character. From the movie came a spinoff of a television series starring Sarah Michelle Gellar and then Angel with Bones actor David Boreanaz.

In dressing up from characters from Buffy the Vampire Slayer you have Angel, Druscilla, or Spike. In the movie Buffy is always seen in a valley girl style outfit. You might want to choose the white prom dress as the last few scenes had the character dressed in. You can also choose any of the costumes from the television show. Some good choices would be Renaissance, Vampire, Dracula, and Zombies. Buffy had a serving wench outfit from her past in the movie so this is another idea.
