About Bolt

Bolt is an animated film created by Disney studios in 2008. The film had several top stars voices such as John Travolta, Miley Cyrus, Malcolm McDowell, Claire Holt, and Susie Essman. The plot of the movie is of a star dog. The dog, Bolt, goes to work filming a show each day, and beating the bad guy. Then he is taken to his trailer. However, there is a threat against Penny, his human owner at least that is what he thinks. So he escapes from the trailer to try and get Penny back. Of course Penny is at the studio because Bolt doesn’t understand it was just a cartoon he was starring in. Bolt spends several days going across the country to try and get Penny back meeting many challenges on the way.

Dressing up as Bolt

Bolt is a small dog with white fur, and lightning bolts on his sides. The costume you will find online will have a white dog costume with the lightning bolts sewn on. Typically the costume also has a head resembling Bolt’s looks with ears. You may also find the costume has the dog collar attached. Other costume ideas for dogs include Scooby Doo who is also a crime solver.
