About Blade

The title character of a supernaturally themed Marvel comics series and played by Wesley Snipes in a series of action movies, Blade is a half-human, half-vampire vampire hunter known as "The Day Walker." Born to an African-American woman who was bitten by a vampire during the late stages of her pregnancy, the child who grew up to be Blade was immune to many of the things most vampires could be killed by: namely, sunlight and silver. He ages slowly, in part to his half-vampire genetics and has superhuman speed and strength as a result. Raised and mentored by an old, white man named Whistler, Blade was trained in several forms of martial arts and had an arsenal of weapons at his disposal to slay vampires, such as garlic and sunlight bullets.

Dressing up as Blade

Gear up and battle vampires dresed as Blade, the Daywalking half-man/half-vampire. Put on a pair of Slayer Glasses to shield your eyes from the sun while staking out vampire lairs during the day. Additionally, the Blade or "Covenant Slayer" costume comes complete with a long, black, PVC coat, spiked collar, and gauntlets and holsters for weapons. Add a pair of imposing black combat boots to your all-black ensemble. You'll also need weapons to engage your prey in hand-to-hand combat, such as a pair of Covenant Daggers and double blade dagger with a distinctive curve to its (plastic) edge.
