About Bill Clinton

William Jefferson Clinton was born on August 19, 1946 and was the 42nd President of the United States. He grew up in Arkansas and his academic excellence during his school years was awarded with the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship. Clinton's distinguished political career included a turn as the Attorney General of Arkansas as well as becoming Governor of Arkansas. In 1992, he began his first of two Presidential terms. During his second term, President Clinton was nearly impeached due to his brief relationship with White House intern, Monica Lewinsky. Regardless, Clinton accomplished much during his terms, improving U.S. relations world wide and leaving office with an economic surplus. At the end of his presidency, Clinton had a 68% approval rating, equal to that of Ronald Reagan and FDR. Currently, he travels the world receiving honors and speaking as an unofficial ambassador worldwide.
