About Bigfoot

Bigfoot is a fairy tale concept to most people. Bigfoot or Sasquatch is supposed to be an ape like animal with some human characteristics. In other words some consider Bigfoot to be the missing link. However, the existence of Bigfoot has never been proven thus it is considered a myth created from misidentification of other animals. Bigfoot supposedly walks on two feet, can run great distances, and is unable to speak. They are supposed to be less intelligent creatures. In the Himalayas Bigfoot would be called a Yeti. The Yeti are white blending in with the snow capped mountains. Bigfoot is considered to be a brown or black furred creature. Bigfoot is supposedly 6 to 10 feet tall weighing more than 500 pounds. It sounds more like a grizzly bear from its description than a gorilla except for the “ape” like face it supposedly has. Bigfoot is thought to live in the Pacific Northwest.

Dressing up as Bigfoot

Bigfoot costumes are mostly for adults, but it is not hard to find some child sized costumes. They are also fairly easy to budget costumes since they are a jumpsuit design. Bigfoot costumes are made from faux fur or a plush material that resembles fur. The body suit has a zipper up the back to enclose you in. The jumpsuit has hands and feet like gorillas attached. Then to complete the big footed monster is a mask. This mask is sold with the costume, but not attached. The mask resembles a gorilla with its hair wild look. Most costumes are black, but white ones are available for the Abominable Snowman.
