About Betty Rubble

Betty Rubble is one of the characters from the Flintstones. The cartoon was created in the 60’s by Hanna Barbera. The show has always been popular with children. In fact you can still watch reruns on the Boomerang channel. Betty Rubble was wife to Barney Rubble. They had a child Bamm Bamm. The couple and their family lived in the time of the Stone Age. Betty like the rest of the clan lived in a town called Bedrock. They were barefoot and considered cave dwellers, thus Betty is a cave woman. Betty is a very social individual always talking with Wilma Flintstone. Usually the women have to help bail out their husbands.

Dressing up as Betty Rubble

Betty Rubble is from the Stone Age and she always had on the same outfit. First you will not need any shoes for this cavewoman. What you will need is a blue dress. The dress should have a ruffle cut to the hem line and be above the knee. Around her neck, or yours, you would need a black necklace with a stone on it. A matching bow is needed for the hair. To complete the costume you should have a black short haired wig.
