Beer is an alcoholic beverage. It is perhaps one of the oldest beverages of the world. Beer is made with a brewing process in which starches like cereal grains, malted barley, wheat or maize can be used. Hops is another option when making beer. Beer can be light or dark. Guinness is a most popular Irish beer that is very dark. Other beers include Leffe, Killians Red, Coors, Budweiser, Heineken, and Miller Genuine Draft. Beer dates back to the 9000 BC during the Neolithic time period. Sumerian writings mention having a type of beer. Beer is traditionally seen as a Germanic beverage, and even a Celtic one. Oktoberfest is the most notable holiday in which beer is celebrated. It is a German holiday that has moved around the world.

Dressing up as Beer

To dress as Beer you would need a Beer keg costume, beer bottle, or beer can costume. Each one of these exist. If you are a bottle you will have a wide base, with a thin neck. For a can you would have a cylindrical costume that goes from the neck to the ankles. The beer keg is perhaps the most original idea in that you have a rounded costume for the upper body. It has a metallic like appearance due to the silver of the fabric. Other costume ideas are beer wench or Oktoberfest. Your costume choices can include the brand of beer you want to be such as Heinekin or Bud. you may also leave off the brand name or create your own.
