About Basketball
It takes speed and accuracy to be a star on the basketball court, although having a height advantage couldn't hurt, either. With five men on the court per team, basketball is a fast-paced game that involves teams attempting to shoot the ball through an eight foot hoop at either end of the court to score two or three points (depending on where the ball is shot from). The professional organization for basketball players is the NBA which is home to 30 teams. Popular players still active today include rivals Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant, while perhaps the most decorated and accomplished baseball player of all time is former Chicago Bull, Michael Jordan.
