Records regarding the banana show it was cultivated as long ago as 5000 BCE in the Kuk Swamp of the Western Highlands in Papua New Guinea. Since then bananas have been a huge source of fruit for the world. A banana is a herbaceous plant that grows in the tropical isles. They have been cultivated for a source of fiber and ornaments. Bananas normally grow green until they are ripened and ready to eat. The plant species normally has a height of 2 to 8 meters with leaves at 3.5 meters in length. There are also red bananas that grow in the forests. There can be up to 20 fruit in one tier of the tree. They tend to hang in these clusters and way 125 grams. The skin can be eaten or cooked as part of a mineral source. Typically though most just eat the inner part of the banana and not the skin.

Dressing up as a Banana##

There are several types of banana costumes to choose from. When dressing as a banana you will discover sizes ranging from infant to adult. The infant costume is going to encase the entire children with the bottom of the banana keep the legs warm. There are arm holes in the infant costume as well as a place for the face. Then the costume extends up to cover the head and create the stem. For adults the costume is going to have places for the legs and arms so the person can walk. A great idea for dressing up as a banana is having a whole family as a tier with infant, child, and two adult costumes. Other types of bananas include the banana pepper, green banana costume, and red banana costume.
