About Avatar
"Avatar" is a film by James Cameron that was nominated for an Academy Award. In the future, Earth's atmosphere is nearly destroyed by human polution and waste. Human scientists, military, and corporations attempt to mine a moon named Pandora for a rare sort of mineral to reboot life. Residing on Pandora is a giant, blue, spiritual species known as the {Na'vi}. Sympathetic human scientists create bodies that are compatable with the Na'vi known as Avatars. Dressing up as Avatar
Create your own Avatar with costumes based on Neytiri of the Na'vi and human-turned-Na'vi, Jake Sully with officially licensed Avatar costumes. Put on a Jake Sully mask made of top-quality latex. Jake's skin is blue and the mask features the bright, golden eyes of the Na'vi with slits for the wearer to peer out of. Full-fledged costumes and jumpsuits are also available in ladies' sizes with a Neytiri costume including a one-piece blue striped jumpsuit to look like the Na'vi's skin tone. I made this costume from clothes I found at a thrift store. I used a large yellow shirt and tightened the sleeves, an orange poncho that was cut to right style, a pair of white shorts dyed yellow and cut to fit, red sweatpants, red socks, and some extra orange fabric to make the accessories.
