An Asian princess like any princess is one that was born to royalty or married into royalty. Most Asian princesses are referred to as an empress, since most male royalty were emperors. You may also consider an Asian Princess as a Geisha. Theatre individuals called Geisha could act as princesses in the tales they told depending on the circumstances. Asian princesses of today are mostly Pop idols or media icons like those on the Olympic teams.

Dressing up as Asian Princess

There are a few choices you have in dressing as an Asian Princess. You could wear a Geisha costume which is a kimono with a sash tied in a bow at the back, long bell sleeves, and a skirt to the ankles. You would need a Geisha wig and a fan to complete this costume. Your other choice would be a Mulan costume. Though she is a warrior Disney also counts her as one of the Disney Princesses. For that costume you would need armour and a tunic. The costumes for an Asian Princess can be made from silk or polyester depending on your budget.
