About Ape

An ape is a mammal from the Hominoidea family. Ape is usually applied to such animals as gorillas, gibbons, Siamang, and orangutans. Apes are going to be primates in which they have a great deal of hair, tails, and flexible appendages. Most apes like to hang out in trees, swing around, and spend their lives above ground. Apes also have opposable thumbs which is one reason some consider apes to be a link towards homo sapiens. Ape can be used as another way to say monkey or primate. The use of the word ape is not always applied correctly and sometimes it is used only for those that lack tails. Apes are omnivorous, live in Africa and Asia, and some are endangered.

Dressing up as Ape

Ape costumes will vary depending on what type of ape you wish to be. You have gorilla suits providing an overly large body such as king kong. There are also smaller ape costumes. They all have the one thing in common. They are jumpsuits of a plush material, in which the chest is typically muscled, and the hood fits over the head using the person’s face as the ape face. Most jumpsuits come with feet and hands. Don’t forget your banana as that is a popular ape food!
