Everything old is new again... Sort of. '80s rock has made a big comeback, nearly 30 years after bands like {Guns n' Roses}, Motley Crue and Poison strutted their stuff down the Sunset Strip. After glam gave way to grunge, these spandex-clad, Aqua Net abusing titans faded into the background until compilation albums helped to bring them back into vogue, touting that "Every bad boy has a soft side." Currently, many of these bands are releasing new music, every bit as good -- if not better -- than the party anthems that brought them prominence. Some change with the times, others seem stuck in 1987. It's all rock n' roll, though!

Dressing up as 80s Male Rock Stars

Ask that special lady in your life if she'll stay in your house and rock your world dressed up as Poison frontman and VH1 "Rock of Love" reality show staple, Bret Michaels with a long blonde wig and a bandana. Make sure your wig or weave stays on nice and tight with a cowboy hat over the top of that bandana, too! Or, emulate Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx and his signature long, spikey 'do with an {80s rocker wig} in black. Dress up as Sixx's fellow Crue mate, the infamous Tommy Lee with some tattoo sleeves, a curly brown wig, and a little but of uh... "male enhancement" shoved down the front of your spandex or leather pants! (As an added bonus, have a female friend dress up as Pam Anderson for a great couple's costume!). Last but not least, gear up as the granddaddy of all '80s metal, Dee Snider of Twisted Sister with a Twisted Sister makeup kit and wild, spiral blonde wig like the hair Dee sported back in the day. "Raise your fist and yell!"
