A horse is a mammal. They have lived on the earth for 45 to 55 million years according to scientists. Of course the first horses are most likely largely different from those we see today. Horses were domesticated in 4000 BC and used for many purposes. Today horses are more for show riding then in the past when they were a necessary form of transportation. Still the Amish uses horses to pull buggies or ride, so not everywhere in the US or the world have horses been turned into show horses. Farmers also still use horses in various parts of the world. A 2 person horse is actually a form of costume based on the mammal.

Dressing up as 2 Person Horse

A great couples costume is the 2 person horse. One person will fill the back legs of the horse, while the other stands up in the front legs and holds the head up. Most two person horses are made of a plush material. The rear end of the horse costume will hold up their end with suspenders. If you are not a horse person consider the {2 person cow}. You can also have just a one person horse costume as well.
